I decided to write a letter to old Saint Nick and see if he can pull off a few favors for me, as this is the giving type of season.  So I give you my New York Mets Christmas list:

1.  Barry Zito beginning the season as the ace of the staff.

2.  Willie Randolph getting a 3 year extention

3.  Fans like WFAN host Joe Beningo learn to TRUST OMAR and stop over reacting to every twist and turn on the season.

4.  Heilman realizing he's a reliever, not a starter.

5.  Delgado and Beltran get and stay healthy through all of 2007.

6.  David Wright displays a little more power than last year, maybe 30 homeruns.

7.  Sanchez returns to his dirty Sanchez role.

8.  Maine and Perez prove they are solid high end starting pitchers.

9.  Glavine and Hernandez stay healthy through October.  NO SPRINTING BEFORE A GAME DAY!

10.  Lasting Milledge learns from his first year in the BIGS and becomes the productive, star outfield that I and others believe he can be.

11.  That the Mets realize there is no parking at Shea and somehow finds a solution to the problem.

12.  Another NL East division championship along with a World Series Ring.

That's what I sent to old Saint Nick in hopes that I at least get a few of these wishes.  At any rate, I'm looking forward to this Christmas!  I'm heading back to NYC to see my family, have some great Italian food, and to enjoy a real nice rest.

I'll be posting more requently in the future.  I needed to take a break in Novemeber.

Merry Christmas to all!
